Vantage Premium – Widgets, permalinks and Customize theme not working!

Hi, we have had vantage premium for a while with no problems until now.

1. Widgets do not work (nothing happens when you click the drop-down/drag and drop) if the following plugins are activated:

– Page Builder by Site Origin
– Site Origin Widgets Bundle

We found them to be the culprits after doing a plugin test so have de-activated them temporarily.

2. The “edit” button to edit permalinks on posts and pages does not work.
Nothing happens when you click on the “edit” permalink button when creating a new post or page.
Tried changing the permalink settings but still have the same problem.

3. “Customise” Vantage premium theme does not work.
When you click “customise”, it shows the customizing page but with no clickable menus or options – just a blank page.

Please your urgent attention will be greatly appreciated as our charity’s website needs to be updated.

    1. To clarify, what happens if only SiteOrigin Page Builder and the SitewOrigin Widgets Bundle are active? Do the widgets work as desired? What widgets specifically aren’t working for you?

    2. Have you tried running a plugin conflict test for this?

    3. That sounds like you’ve reached the memory limit. You need to apply a pretty hands on fix to resolve this issue. This article would be a good read as it’ll outline how to change it. You’ll need to edit wp-config.php. If you’re unfamiliar with FTP, I would recommend asking your hosting provider for help with editing this file.

    By the way, as you’re a premium user, you’re entitled to priority email support.     Managed to get our IT guy to sort it. Says he did a fresh installation as there were some missing scripts or so.
