Using the Vantage Premium theme and the Ultimate Member Plugin at the same time is causing problems:
In detail: the password reset page of ultimate member stays blank. Once changing the theme to one of the defaults, the reset page content is showing up.
Since it is a premium theme, i hope the developers of Siteorign can fix this bug.
Best wishes.
Hi Shortey,
I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues with using Vantage Premium and Ultimate Member.
Can you please enable WP_DEBUG? This will allow for the full error message to appear rather than the blank page. To enable WP_DEBUG, you’ll need to edit your wp-config.php file. If you need help with this, please reach out to your hosting provider for assistance with this.
Thanks for the advice.
Unfortunately it does not show any error message.
It seems like the content from Ultimate member cant be appended to the dom.
Everything is displaying (Page Headline etc) except of the password reset form from ultimate member.
Just doubled checked. Once the theme is changed to a default one the UM form appears.
Hi Shortey,
That’s odd. To confirm, after enabling WP_DEBUG, you still see a blank page?
If so, please enable WP_DEBUG_LOG and then replicate this issue again. Then please FTP into your website and navigate to your WordPress directory. Open the wp-content directory and open debug.log. Please send me the contents of that file – I would upload it to a place like Pastebin.
Well the page is not entirely blank as you can see here: https://www.desio.at/pw_reset.png
Navigation and everything is working fine, its just not displaying the content of the ultimate member plugin.
Underneath the headline should be the password reset form as you can see here (when i activate another theme) https://www.desio.at/pw_reset1.png
Activation the debug log in the wp_config.php does not display any errors either.
Hi Shortey,
Would it be possible for you to create a test account with an email so I can try replicating this issue? I don’t need access to your site, I just need an email for a valid account on your website. If you would like to use a valid email, please use: Private Snippet.
To confirm, after enabling WP_DEBUG_LOG and replicating this issue again, a debug.log file wasn’t created in the wp-content directory? This setting will log errors rather than allow for them to appear so you’ll need to manually check the debug.log for the error.
This is a private message.
i wrote you an email to “private+1…[email protected]” with further information.

Hi Shortey,
Thanks. I haven’t received an email from your website yet (you’ll be notified when we do) but I have been able to try resetting the password now that I know an email for a valid account. The password reset request was successful and I received this message:
Can you please try resetting the password of the account you created for me? Does it work for you?
Hi Shortey,
It looks like we’ve received an email from Ultimate Member over the password reset request.
The problem is the page when you are following the reset link.
Then you should be able to see a form where you can set a new password.
(As you can see here when using a default theme: https://www.desio.at/pw_reset1.png)
But it looks like this: https://www.desio.at/pw_reset.png
PS: since i bought the vantage premium(!) theme, shouldnt i be able to use the premium (email) support?
Hi Shortey,
Thanks for clarifying. I’ve run a few tests locally and I can’t replicate this issue while using Vantage. I see you have a non-standard directory name for Vantage. Have you made any modifications to the theme or anything like that?
Does this issue occur if you’re using the WP.org version of Vantage?
Regarding premium support, in early August 2016, we stopped selling Vantage Premium and introduced SiteOrigin Premium, a single plugin that adds additional functionality to Page Builder by SiteOrigin, the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and all of our themes. In August of 2018, we discontinued email support and updates for Vantage Premium.
Almost all of the additional settings previously found in Vantage Premium are now part of the free Vantage theme hosted on the WordPress.org theme directory. This version is being regularly updated. Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments, two options previously part of Vantage Premium are now addons in SiteOrigin Premium.
If you’d like to make use of the Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments addons in SiteOrigin Premium as well as a host of additional functionality or receive premium support, please find a 30% discount code below:

If you have any questions, please let us know.
I did not customize the theme.
Once installed the standard vantage theme, it works but its not quite an option because the whole page design relies on the premium theme.
Changing to the normal vantage theme would mean a lot of work to get the same look and would probably cause some other problems at other places.
Hi Shortey,
Thanks. Can you please clarify what version of Vantage Premium you’re using?
You can move your Vantage Premium settings to Vantage using customizer export/import. Vantage Premium and Vantage share the same settings base so you’re able to move the data over.
I am using the Vantage Premium Version: 2.4.4
Importing the premium customizer .dat file to the normal vantage one, brings up an error: “the settings are not for the current theme”
Hi Shortey,
You’re using an older version of Vantage Premium that was just before we did settings revamp. You’ll need to update to the latest version to be able to move the settings over. Updating to the latest version may also resolve the issue you’re facing.
You can request a download link for the latest version by filling out this form with the email you used during purchase.
Okay lets try that.
Unfortunately the link is not working for me.
“Page not working. ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS” (I tried deleting the cookies already, didnt help)
Hi Shortey,
That’s odd! I just clicked the link in my previous post and it works without issue for me. Can you please try using a different browser to see if that helps?
I was able to retrieve vantage premium 2.6
Though i am having the same issues as when setting the theme to the normal vantage one.
I cant import my current vantage premium settings, which results in major differences between the pages.
Hi Shortey,
Please note that you’ll need to rename the directory of the updated version of Vantage Premium to the same name as the version of Vantage Premium you were previously using. WordPress stores Customizer settings using the theme slug (which is the directory the theme is stored in) so if the theme slug is different (eg vantage1 vs vantage) the previous settings won’t be loaded. Does that make sense?
