I just started using Vantage Premium, so excuse my ignorance. I have attempted to make several changes to my site on the Vantage Premium Theme Settings page and the changes are not affecting the site.

I have was attempting to set the “Layout Bound” on the Layout tab to “Full Width”. I select that option, then “Save Settings” , but my site still has a fixed width. Seems like something fundamental I am not doing??

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Matt

Sorry to hear about the hassle. Please try run through a few steps:

    1. Try something else like uploading a logo. Confirm that settings are definitely not saving.

    2. Dashboard > Updates. Run any pending updates.

    3. De-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins – re-test – if the issue resolves re-activate your plugins one by one, each time checking the problem.

Having the same problem, all of the settings uncheck themselves. It comes with some things checked and then when you click save settings they all uncheck. I believe it’s a wordpress 4.0 compatibility issue. The forms aren’t being handled correctly by wordpress, the don’t save at all, and they all revert to being unchecked.

    Hi,

    I had the same problem,
Try remove the free theme “Vantage ” from the “wp-content/themes” folder, at that place put the new pro theme “Vantage”,
Active the theme and check back,

    Cheers

    Hi,
I had the same issue – solved it by changing the folder name to ‘vantage’ – was Vantage 3.

      Hi, I Work Here

      Hi Pål

Thanks for letting us know. Appreciate the feedback. “vantage” is the default folder name.

All the best with your site :)

I think the issue might come from downloading and unzipping the theme multiple times. The unzipped folders will be versioned as they have similar names – and if you then zip the folders with versioned names, the issue arises.

      Hi, I Work Here

That’s it! Easy to happen if you’re installing manually.
