5Hi.
Thanks for running Vantage Premium.
To insert text links into Page Builder you can use the Text widget or the Black Studio TinyMCE, called the Visual Editor widget once installed: http://wordpress.org/plugins/black-studio-tinymce-widget/.
Rows and columns, once created, do need widgets placed in them to retain their structure after saving. If your layouts aren’t being rendered with widgets and content in those widgets it points to a possible plugin conflict. Please try running through the steps outlined here: https://siteorigin.com/troubleshooting/identifying-plugin-conflicts/
Hello Andrew,
TinyMCE does not show up after installation, and Black Studio doesn’t seem to be sure where the problem is.

As of now, as long as I use the Vantage Premium Theme, it is not possible to add a text link in way that it remains in place, with what ever tool I use.
Maybe BlackStudio comes up with a solution, as no other WYSIWYG editor works in the WP 3.9.1./Vantage Premium combo.
The Black Studio TinyMCE is called “Visual Editor” once installed. It’s a confusing name change they made just to the name of their widget. Go to any Page Builder tab, hit + to insert a widget and then search for Visual Editor.
To be precise though, we should only be talking about Page Builder or widget areas here. Vantage shouldn’t in any way prevent you from using the regular post/page Visual tab and adding a link there.
Now, that reminds me of my ex-wife. Her name was Felicity, but I called her bitch when she took everything from me once we were divorced…
Thanks for the info, that worked for me. (I also couldn’t image how a theme would be able to destroy functionality unintentionally).
Thanks again, problem solved.
Confusing naming for sure! Glad you were able to resolve.
All the best!
