Vantage Post Loop, hide arrows if all items are displayed

Hey there,

first of all. Thanks for this great theme.
But I’ve got a little problem. On my Vantage Home Page I’m using a Post Loop to display random posts in a Post Carousel.
But even if all posts are being displayed there are still the navigation arrows at the top right corner.
If they are there you can scroll “infinite” into the void.

I’m currently showing 4 random posts, as this is the maximum amount I’ve got to display at once.

Are there possibilities to:
– hide the arrows if all Posts (4) are being displayed?
– show them if you need to scroll the posts because you can’t see all (for example if you are opening the site from a mobile device) ?
– and to prevent the infinite (to the void) scrolling?

At the website, linked below you can see the problematic widget under the caption”Das könnte dir gefallen” (first widget after the meta slider).

Thanks and best regards

Sorry. Of course I’ve meant the first widget after the vantage Headline :/

    Hi TheExoduser

Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without some custom coding. I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update.

If you need this urgently, you could always post a job on https://codeable.io/.

    Hi Andrew,

thanks for the reply. It’s not that urgent, it just would be nice to at least prevent this “infinite” scrolling bug.
Hopefully it will be added in the future :)

    Hi, I Work Here

For sure, it’s definitely been brought up in the past. I just chatted to the guys about it. We’ll try get this into our next run on the Widgets Bundle:

    http://wordpress.org/plugins/so-widgets-bundle/

The Bundle has a widget in it called the Carousel widget, same as the Post Loop widget with the Carousel template. Here is the changelog if you’d like to keep an eye on that:

Ah thanks, would be awesome if this bug is beeing removed.
And sorry I’ve mixed up something. I’m already using the carousel widget from your widget bundle, as it allows me to have upper and lower case characters in the title (the post Loop widget from Vantage automatically converts everything to upper case).

And thanks, I’m definitely bookmarking the changelog so I can have a look at it from time to time.
