Vantage: Panel backgrounds not tilings and unable to access “Customize”

10 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 10 years ago

Hi!
I’ve just updated both WordPress and the Vantage theme (I have the premium version), but I am not able to access the “customise” menu item in the theme settings.

Also apart from the header and footer, the panels are not extending right across the entire screen, even though I am using the Full page template setting.

I thought to re-install the theme, but I’m not sure which folder to download/save so that I don’t lose my theme settings.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance!

    Hi Miss Mookie

    Really sorry to hear about the hassle.

    The Customizer sounds like a plugin conflict. I’ll send instructions for that shortly.

    For the full width panels issue, please, try the following at Appearance > Custom CSS:

    /* Page Builder Vantage Legacy Force Full Width */
    .layout-full .panel-row-style.panel-row-style-wide-grey,
    .layout-full .panel-row-style.panel-row-style-full-width,
    .layout-full .panel-row-style {
      margin: 0 -1000px;
      padding: 25px 1000px 25px 1000px;
    }

    Repeat of our .org chat but I’m posting here in case anyone else reads your question.

    Chat soon :)

    Cheers

    Plugin conflict instructions if required:

    This sounds like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

    Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
