Just want to start by saying that I am really appreciative of the work you guys have put into this theme already. Your plugins are among the most impressive I have seen as well.
The issue I have run into is a minor one, but is probably affecting many, if not all, of your users. The mobile version of the theme seems to run correctly (top page button and optimizations) when my phone’s browser is requesting the desktop version. The “mobile non-desktop” (not requesting desktop) version is aesthetically identical to the “mobile desktop” version, but it can be a bit sluggish when opening and navigating the menu. It is important to note that the top page arrow button is absent from the “mobile non-desktop” version as well.
Below I have included my device info to aid your diagnosis.

Vantage unfortunately doesn’t offer a mobile or desktop site, just one site that’s responsive. Below a certain breakpoint a mobile menu is rendered, but at a code level there is only one site, the containers used are responsive, allowing them to load on mobile. If you’re running a plugin like Jetpack Mobile Menu or similar, you might then get a link to change between mobile and desktop, in that case though the plugin is handling things.
When you mention your phones browser requesting the desktop version, is that happening via a link on the site or is the browser automatically attempting this?
Can you perhaps send through a link to your site?

I am sorry this response was delayed when yours was so timely. I will include a link in a private message below this one. The pages shrink appropriately when viewed on mobile devices, but the menu isnt sticky and the navigate to top buitton does not show up. is there a way to force any browser to view the page as a desktop version? when i choose show desktop version through chrome’s (mobile) options, the page behaves perfectly. thank you again

No problem at all. If you go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Navigation you’ll now find a new option to enable Mobile Navigation, that should turn on Sticky Menu and Back to Top on mobile. Can you give that a go and see how it works for you.

I actually activated that option before i sent my last two messages. i just checked to see if it was checked and it is. this works when i request desktop mode on my mobile browser, but not when just viewing it without the option within my browser selected.
Thanks, I see the problem. I’m unfortunately not sure why this new setting isn’t working. I’ll log a bug report for our developers to attend to as soon as they can. Sorry I don’t have a fix right away. Thanks for your feedback. Please leave the Mobile Navigation setting on as I’ll reference this thread and your url in the bug report.
Thanks for the wait. Please can you try running a quick test for us. Please briefly switch back to the regular masthead layout and test mobile. I think there issue is there. We just spotted this recently, it’ll be resolved in the next release of Vantage.
