An update has appeared to have broken my site’s mobile menu. When viewing on an iPhone, the menu appears as black-on-black, and the text only appears when you click on the menu. To see the issue, the site is at http://www.senatorpatrickcolbeck.com. I have all the menu settings within the theme set with their default values. Any suggestions on how to solve this?
Hi Bcarney,
Did you manage to resolve this issue? I ask as I can’t seem to see the described issue on your website anymore.
No it is not resolved; the client made me turn off the mobile menu as it made the site nearly unusable for mobile viewers.
I uploaded a copy of the site to http://demo.misenategop.com and turned on the mobile menu – you can see the issue at that URL.
Hi Bcarney,
I just noticed that you’re not actually using a standard Vantage Menu and you’re instead using a Max Mega Menu. According to the Max Mega Menu generated stylesheet, the menu items are set to be black. I would recommend taking a look over your settings to prevent this.
If you’re unable to find the setting I would recommend getting in contact with Max Mega Menu.
My apologies; I thought that plugin was part of the theme distribution. But on the other hand, it did give me direction on where to look to fix the problem, so you did provide the solution after all. Thank you!
