Vantage : Menu on ipad

Hello there,

Can someone explain to me why is the top menu behaving this way ?

It is almost impossible to select an item from a submenu when I use my ipad. If I use my desktop, all is fine.

Here is the website :http://ecosmoncton.apps-1and1.com/

I’m sure I am missing something basic.

Thanks again,

Donald

    Hi Donald

    Thanks for running Vantage.

    I don’t have a tablet to test on, I’ll ask Greg if he can take a look a bit later on.

    One option right now would be to head to Appearance > Theme Settings > Navigation and increase your mobile menu breakpoint to 760 or higher. That would push the mobile menu to tablets, you then need to click on the far right arrow to reach sub pages. It’s not as fast but very stable.

    Hello,
    Thank you so much for responding.

    Using safari, when i try to select a multi-level menu, such as Surgical Instructions/Post-Operative Instructions/Jaw Surgery. It is very difficult to select the next menu. Can you get to the Jaw surgery page ?

    I am using my ipad 3, IOS 7.1.2.

    Thanks,

    Donald

    You could try increasing the padding just a little on those items. If you’d like to try that then insert the following under Appearance > Custom CSS:

    .main-navigation ul ul a {
    padding-top: 20px;
    padding-bottom: 20px;
    }

    That adds 5px padding top and bottom to the drop down items.
