Vantage Menu color change

By pentzy, 9 years ago. Last reply by SiteOrigin, 8 years ago.

I am attempting to change the color of the menu from the standard black. I have found the step by step instructions, but I do not have the menu option (appearance –> customize –> menu?) is not listed.

Do I need to have premium for this? Am I missing something?

Thanks

    Hi Pentzy.
I believe that you do have to have premium to change the menu bar colour. (and fonts and background colour and a lot of other really worthwhile adjustments.) Unless you are comfy with writing your own css and making a child theme and all that.

I have to say, (and I’m no shill /A shill, also called a plant or a stooge, is a person who publicly helps a person or organization without disclosing that they have a close relationship with the ..for Vantage), that the amount of appearance options that you can achieve with the premium is well worth the meagre investment.

I paid $15 and the stuff I can now do, (plus you may have had a reply from support already as they rightfully lend priority to those that have paid.) I gotta tell you the time saved and ability to change stuff is amazing.

    Some thing to consider.
    Philip.

If you don’t want to pay for pro version (it would be nice if you can) there is really handy plug-in you can use:
    Page: SiteOrigin CSS Editor
watch the video it will explain you everything. Click the background of your menu and change background color in left sidebar. If it doesn’t change just go one layer lower and try, eventually you will find layer you were looking for.
