Hi there,
I’m a newbie and I’m having some problems with the background colour of my links or menu items changing when I right-click the link/menu item.
What am I doing wrong?

Thanks,
Brent
Hi Brent,
So normally it’s possible to do this by navigating to WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme DesignMenu and adjust the Background setting for the background and Text Color for the menu item colors.
I say normally because I see you’re using a child theme and it appears to be changing a lot so it’s possible the above isn’t the case due to how the child theme works. Let me know if the above doesn’t work/help.
Hi Alex,
Thanks for the reply, but I don’t think I explained the problem adequately.
The menu settings and colours are working perfectly. It is only when I right click on them that the background changes to blue.
It’s not a huge problem (just me being my normal perfectionistic self :-P), so if there’s no easy solution, don’t worry about it.
Thanks anyway for the help so far.
Hi Brent,
Ah. That would be the Hover Background setting. It’s also at WP AdminAppearanceCustomize, Theme DesignMenu. If that’s not the case, can you please temporarily change the menu settings to what you would like to use so I can view this blue color? I tried replicating this with your current settings and was unable to.
