Vantage Home Page Not Opening at the Start

I’m using Vantage theme and have a single page website. The Home page is not opening at the top of the page. Instead it appears to open at some point about half way down the page. A reader then needs to scroll back to the top. I can’t think what I’ve done to cause this behaviour so would be grateful for any suggestions. I’m testing in a Windows 10 with Chrome Browser. Thanks in advance.
