Vantage Headline Widget Background Image

Resolved 11 replies premiumthemetheme-vantage

Hello,

I am trying to add a background image to the Headline Widget on my custom home page, but when I go to Widget – Edit – Design, the ‘Select Image’ button under Background Image seems to be un-clickable?

Not sure if I am doing anything wrong here?

    Hi tgmaffiliates

That button seems to be ok on my side. Please try troubleshoot:

    1. Start by running any pending updates at Dashboard > Updates.

    2. De-activate all plugins except for Page Builder. Re-test. If the issue resolves, re-activate your plugins one by one, each time checking the problem.

Let me know how that goes.

    Hi Andrew

I tried both ways and both ways did not work.

Choosing Background Image for the Circle Icon also does not work for me.

    Any other ideas?

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the info.

    1. Is Page Builder on version 2.0.3?
    2. Did you turn off all non-SiteOrigin plugins at once and re-test?
    3. Try testing with a default theme like Twenty Fourteen activated and see if there is any change.
    4. Try create a new page and re-test on that page.
    5. Are you showing any Javascript errors when the problem occurs?

    Hi

    1. Yes it is on version 2.0.3.
    2. Yes, I have tried.
    3. Default theme does not allow Vantage Headline or Circle Icon widget.
    4. I have tried it on new pages and the background image change works! Not sure why it doesn’t work on the Home Page.
    5. Yes, there seems to be an error:
siteorigin-panels-styles.min.js:1 Uncaught TypeError: undefined is not a function

    Hi tgmaffiliates

Please try deleting Page Builder and the Widget Bundle if you have it installed. Then re-install both. All data will be safe.

I did all the steps , that you mentioned above. But nothing is working. I reinstalled and updated the entire WP Install (incl. PageBuilder), but it is still not working.

Shall I also open a new thread? Or can you help me here right away ?
