Hello!
I am wondering if there is a way to remove the space taken up by the “subheadline” field. That is, if I want to use a headline, but not a subheadline; when I do this, there is a blank space on the page where a subheadline would go.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks!
– Sean
Hi Sean,
I would highly recommend changing to the SiteOrigin Headline widget as it includes far more customization options. The SiteOrgin headline Widget is included in the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle Once installed, please navigate to WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins and activate the Headline widget.
Please open the Vantage Headline widget you wish to do this for and head over to the widget styles sidebar. Open the Attribute settings group and set the widget class to headline-no_subheadline and then save. Please navigate to WP AdminAppearanceCustom CSS and add the following CSS:
You might also need to install the SiteOrigin CSS Editor.
Ah, CSS is the answer. Thanks, Alex, much appreciated!
One more question (and apologies if this is off-topic), but I have a search field in my Menu, which is the last (furthest right) entry; I’m wondering if it’s possible to add a text field to the right of the search field()which, again, is in the Menu)
Hi Sean,
Unfortunately, this isn’t possible without a fair amount of custom coding. This is beyond the scope of what we can help you with on the forums, but you could hire a developer to implement this for you. We highly recommend using Codeable.
Sorry mate! :(
