Vantage Header Missing

Hi, I was working on inserting a phone number in the Header as mentioned here: https://siteorigin.com/thread/how-to-add-call-to-action-phone-button-to-header-in-vantage-premium/
After completing all the steps, I couldn’t find the Header on the site. Would appreciate your help.

    Hi Artem

    Thanks for reaching out. Have you perhaps made progress on this? If you go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout and set the Masthead layout to Default the header widget area will appear again.

    Hi, Andrew!

    Thanks for quick reply and useful information. When switching to Masterhead, there is a large empty bar in between the logo on the left and the phone number on the right.

    Is there a way to keep “Logo in the Menu” option and insert phone number between the last menu button and the search bar?

    Unfortunately not within normal theme options. I’ve worked up a quick child theme for this but it might require some tweaking.

    Install from Appearance > Themes > Add New: Upload Theme.
    Activating a child theme will cause Menu and Customizer settings to reset.
    This child theme adds a widget area at Appearance > Widgets.

    Check it out, see how you come along ;)
