I have been using Vantage Premium for 6 years – I like it.
I am working on a few new pages and said I would give Gutenberg Blocks (GB) a go.
I used SiteOrigin SO Page Builder until now.
So far I am not happy with the GB output. Wide page and narrow pictures etc… should I continue with PageBuilder ?
You see Vantage Premium does not accommodate wide/full width for Gutenberg Blocks (GB) (Image Block) etc
If I change to another Theme to accommodate GB – will I loose aspects of the website?
Also does SiteOrigin SO accommodate GB so that I can continue with GB as it seems the new WordPress website configuration of preference for the future?
I guess I don’t want to get to a situation at the end of 2021 to find there is no support for SiteOrigin and Pagebuilder and everyone is on GB then.
I was looking at SiteOrigin Page PREMIUM –
Would that help me in the GB sphere ? What advantage is it to me ? Can you guide me there please as what is best for my site?
Apologies – I done fully grasp the So and GB differentials –
CAn I also ask please – is it possible to pay some one or does SO PREMIUM give me an opportunity to ask a tevhnical expert to assess my website and recommend improvemets – I would pay yopu for that ]? or how could I achieve that ?

I’ll go through a few points quite quickly, hopefully it all makes sense.
Vantage Premium was discontinued in 2016, we moved all of the premium settings except for Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments to the version of Vantage hosted on WordPress.org. Footer Attribution and Ajax Comments are addons in SiteOrigin Premium. If you’d like to migrate to Vantage on WordPress.org, switch to any other theme, delete Vantage and then reinstall Vantage from Appearance > Themes.
We’ll add Wide and Full support to Vantage in the next update but only for pages that don’t have a sidebar.
Page Builder by SiteOrigin can be used in the Classic Editor or in the Block Editor. In the Block Editor you can add a SiteOrigin Layout Block or a SiteOrigin Widget Block. Page Builder and Widgets Bundle development is continuing as normal, the products are fully supported. You can view our work on GitHub:

The Block Editor and Page Builder are competing products but using the Layout Block or the WIdget Block, you can use our products in the Block Editor. You have to choose for yourself whether you’d like to continue development in the Classic Editor or move to the Block Editor. The decision will depend on your personal preferences, which you enjoy using more and whether you’re developing a new or an existing site. Using the Classic Editor plugin preferences, it is possible to have some pages in Classic form and others in Block form.
SiteOrigin Premium email support offers quick technical support but you’d need to let us know what you need a hand with, we don’t currently conduct site audits.

2. Switch to any other theme, ( eg Twenty Twenty one …. ?)

If I get SO Premium – would I be able or be in a position to ask yourselves to help me with that ? IS that possible Andrew?
I would accept all responsibility / liability myside 100&% of course –
I would be afraid that I might do it incorrectly or loose some data/pages? Otherwise Ill give it a ‘terrifying’ go !!!

Let me know if you run into issues migrating to Vantage on WordPress.org, it should be quick and easy. I’ll hopefully, get an update out this week to resolve the Block Editor styling questions.
You can’t use blocks in Page Builder but yes, you can use an instance of Page Builder in the Block Editor. The Widgets Bundle also has its own block if you need a single widget.
To migrate you’d login to your WordPress installation. Once logged in, navigate to AppearanceThemes, switch to Twenty Nineteen or Twenty Twenty. Next, hover over the Vantage thumbnail, click Theme Details and then Delete bottom right corner. Finally, from AppearanceThemesAdd New use the search field at the top right to search for Vantage. Install.
Sure, if you’re using SO Premium we can assist directly with the above. Your support would be most appreciated but I think you’ll find this task fairly easy once you get started on it. Content/data isn’t at risk from switching themes so no worries there.

The SiteOrigin Premium plugin provided is the same no matter the license choice. The subscription option is discounted. In the case of the subscription option, the subscription can be canceled at any time.
I got the Premium Single Year License €38 Single Site.

I followed those steps Andrew – To migrate
1) You’d login to your WordPress installation.

Even though I deleted Vantage Premium – Searched for Vantage – It looks like the Vantage that I got states ‘Vantage Premium’ once again !!
Did I do something wrong …
Also – No panic – The Header has been thrown and gone to two lines …

Thanks for your support, it’s most appreciated.
The thumbnail is most likely cached. Perhaps refresh AppearanceThemes a few times, the thumbnail should update.
Perhaps go to AppearanceMenus, check that the correct menu is assigned to the theme’s primary menu location.
At AppearanceWidgets, if widgets are missing, scroll to the bottom of the page and check if they are in the Inactive Widgets area.
Unfortunately – the Menu is correct.
Refreshed a few times & widgets in situo ok.
The new Theme shows ‘Vantage Premium’ on the label …
Or is that just the word Premium to the Vantage Theme…
