Vantage Footer Not Showing for Blogs

By lwdeddie, 7 years ago. Last reply by lwdeddie, 7 years ago.

My footer area works fine on all pages but does not show up on any posts.

If I select a different page as my ‘post’ page then that page’s footer disappears. If I switch the post page to another page the previous page gets the footer back and the new page looses its footer.

What gives?!?!

    Hi Lwdeddie,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi Lwdeddie,

Okay so this issue looks to be caused by a plugin called PLUGIN NAME REMOVED (it wasn’t it) outputting invalid HTML (basically, they’re not closing it which in turn is causing you issues). Try temporarily disabling that plugin to see if that resolves this issue.

No sorry, that didn’t fix it. I disabled that plugin (it’s still disabled) as well as an additional plugin and the footer still is a no-show.

    Hi Lwdeddie,

Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

It was the Pinterest embed script. Thanks for all your help.
