    Please, try updating manually. Temporarily switch to any other theme, delete Vantage. Download the ZIP file from .org here: https://wordpress.org/themes/vantage/. Install from AppearanceThemesAdd NewUpload ThemeActivate.

    As long as you haven’t directly edited theme files (at a code level) there are no risks. The same process happens when you update automatically, the entire theme folder is replaced. The process described above is the standard method for updating both themes and plugins manually.
