Vantage Child – Woocommerce Cart Layout Issue

By johnj2, 8 years ago. Last reply by Alex S, 8 years ago.

Hello,
I am using Vantage Premium Child theme.
When going to WordPress > Customize, the cart looks good that is:
Product Price Quantity Total
x image name_prod1 $1 1 $1
x image name_prod2 $1 1 $1
etc……………
— BUT —
When going to the site url, the cart is looking different and all appear as
x
Product: name_prod1
Price : $1
Quantity: 1
Total: $1
x
Product: name_prod1
Price : $1
Quantity: 1
Total: $1
etc……………

Also each row takes 100% and no image are shown

Thank you so much for any help.

    Hi John,

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on? If you need to keep this URL private from other users, just select “Private Reply” on the bottom right of the comment box.

    Hi Alex,

You actually replied to me in Private email.
Thank you so much for your question. The issue was with the plugin W3 Total Cache Version 0.9.4.1 | By Frederick Townes |

Simply disabling “W3 Total Cache” fixed all layout issues over the theme.

I recommend you mention it somewhere in your installation as this popular plugin hurts badly your theme not only in cart but in thumbnail, product list, etc. So if someone tries your theme with W3 ON then they will not have the same experience.

Thank you for your prompt support !

Quote of your reply in case it can help someone in future::: Alex S.: “I would also recommend doing a plugin conflict test as the cart should definitely be appearing like it does in the customizer.
You can start by disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue. You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins. So just to confirm, double check if the issue is coming up while all other plugins are disabled.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue. Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin”

    Hi John,

OH! Yeah, that’s right – thought this looked familiar. I’m going to temporarily hide this until I feel this issue has been 100% looked into.
