Vantage and Pagebuilder – no content shows up!

Hi Team,

I am using Vantage Premium and installed pagebuilder. I need my first page that people arrive at to be a fixed page and not the blog, so I have switched static home page ON.
I am attempting to set up non-blog pages with pagebuilder, and all good as far as putting the content together. However in preview and in browser nothing shows up in that space (headers, titles etc do but no page content other than anything I type into the standard text/visual tab.

Am I missing something important?

    Hi Winfried

    That does sound strange. When you go back to the pages in WordPress that you have added content to via Page Builder, is the content still there.

    Some general troubleshooting steps you can take:

    1. Dashboard > Updates. Ensure everything is up to date.
    2. Temporarily de-activate all non-SiteOrigin plugins. If there is a change then re-activate your plugins one a time while checking the problem.

    (Please note that on pages where you’ve deployed Page Builder, only edit content in Page Builder. That is to say, don’t add content via Page Builder and then edit it in the regular Visual tab).

    Thanks Andrew,

    Halfway there… I have discoveed how the home page works (figured out how to use the one that is built in to the template) and that is all working great now (getting a great result with pagebuilder there BTW, not yet finshed). I have enabled the blog page and deleted my inital home page.

    But the problem persists on other pages. I have created a contact page (from scratch, “new page” ) on which I wanted three columns:
    1. postal address (text widget),
    2. email contact form, and
    3. social media follow widget.

    None of the content shows up.

    I also just discovered that now that I have deleted my self-made “home page” and enabled the “Custom Home Page” that is part of the template, I am not able to get a “home” link into the menu – it does not appear in the available pages list when I create a menu. I am guessing there is a trick to this?

    The site looks very messy at the moment as I am working on it but it is live at https://www.winfriedsitte.com
    The right pages and structure is there , the content is still being worked on…

    To resolve the home menu item issue head to Appearance > Menus and add a Link item. Add your site url as the url and make the text Home.

    I get the following error when trying to view your site: Not Found on Accelerator
