I don’t know if I’ve set up the homepage incorrectly I cannot remove the Comment box at the bottom of each page under screen options I have unchecked the necessary fields discussion, comments, I have also unchecked all the necessary boxs in settings- discussions, but I cannot get rid of comment boxes at the bottom of the pages with the exception of the homepage, which is fine. I built many sites in WordPress have never had this problem before any ideas guys it is drive me nuts.

Hi Paul
Sounds strange for sure. Screen Options doesn’t directly control the WordPress output, it just controls what you can see in that admin screen. Hide/Show the setting, but no effect on the front facing site. So you’d need to check the Discussion box under Screen Options and then un-check the comment options found in that box, under the Visual Editor. If you’ve done this, are you perhaps facing a caching issue? If you’re running a caching plugin try clearing that.
