Using Meta Slider with WPML for multiple homepage sliders

I have a site using the Vantage Premium theme that is using WPML to offer the site in English and Swedish. I have different sliders for the English and Swedish homepage, built using Meta Slider.

In trying to resolve some issues with the sliders, I deleted them and started fresh with new sliders with different names. I was able to set the English language homepage with the English slider, but cannot seem to find how I set the Swedish homepage slider to display on the Swedish page.

I know it was really easy before. I must be missing something obvious. Could you please point me in the right direction? Thanks!

    Just checking in. You’d asked me to start another support thread for my second issue. We’ve resolved the first. Any chance we can resolve this one today? I’d love to get it wrapped up before the end of the week.

    Hey Rachel

    Thanks for the wait. Perhaps try this:

    If we’re talking about the home page slider, set the Theme Settings > Home slider drop down to none.
    Then go to Pages > Home and set the slider using the Meta Slider drop down menu in the right column.
    Try then switching to the Swedish home page and set that slider using the drop down menu in the page again.

    Not sure if this will work. We need to use a child theme with conditional PHP if it doesn’t. Let me know how it goes.
