Hi i am a vantage premium user and the them is working great except I have had a few plugin issues. I installed a parallax plugin “VC Parallax Background(paid)” which crashed the site. I am now using “DZS parallax(free)” this is great because it does not have to be full width. I intend to use the image parallax as a button or href to another page. so I would have three images side by side that parallax when you scroll but when clicked on -link to another page. I can alter the images size and position everything with page builder easy. My only problem is making them links. Once the Parallax effect is created it is inserted into the page as short code e.g.

[parallaxer media=”http://www.chrislewiscasey.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/05/chair.png” clip_height=”400″ total_height=”550″]

How do I edit this to also be a url link. (I am clearly new to this)
please help

    Hi Chris

    Thanks for reaching out.

Something like this would be specific to the plugin you’re making use of. I, unfortunately, haven’t used the plugin you’ve mentioned here. You’d need to check the documentation and see if that functionality is available within the plugin options.

Here is a brief thread I wrote on another parallax plugin option: Thread: How to add parallax scrolling to a Page Builder row.. It doesn’t have the option to link the background, you could however, link the content that is positioned over the background. I have a feeling this might be the case with many of these plugins.

    Good luck :)
