    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Mike

    Thanks for reaching out.

You can access your Blog page from Pages > Blog. If you want to set that as your posts page you can do so from Settings > Reading.

Similarly, if you want to set your home page as the posts page you can also do that from Settings > Reading. Hope that helps.

Summary: Looks like you still need to define a posts page at Settings > Reading OR at Pages > Blog just add a Post Loop widget to the page via Page Builder.

    Thank you Andrew!

I also wanted to know how I can make it so that the side bar “Recent Posts” section does not show up on pages and only show on posts.

    For sure :)

I like: http://jetpack.me/support/widget-visibility/. When you install Jetpack and have connected it to WordPress.com, go to Jetpack > Settings and do a bulk de-activate of everything, I think it’s better to pick and choose the modules you want. Widget Visibility will do the job.

    Thank again that worked great.

I am having one other issue, I enabled the show homepage icon feature but there is no icon showing in my nav bar.

    For sure.

Not sure on that one. Things to try:

From Appearance > Menus, delete the home page item and re-add it. Add “Home” from the Pages list.
Then go to Appearance > Theme Settings > Navigation and ensure setting is enabled.
Finally, go to Pages > Home and try selecting the home icon from the right column page icon drop down.
