url Issues with trailing backslash and icons not showing up?

Hi.
When I load any of our sites pages, if you miss out the trailing backslash it just loads a blank page. I’ve tried changing the permalinks. I’ve made the custom, so you don’t need the / at the end, but now when you do add the / at the end it loads a blank page. I’ve talked to our hosting company and the said they saw this on the logs.

[15-Jun-2014 05:28:06] PHP Warning: Cannot modify header information – headers already sent by (output started at /home4/*******/public_html/index.php:2) in /home4/******/public_html/wp-includes/pluggable.php on line 1121

Do you have any idea what is causing this?

And a second issue. The image slider icon and the scroll to top of page icon have disappeared. You can still click on the places that would usually be, but the icons are not showing at all.

Thanks

    Hi

You could give these steps a try to resolve:

    http://codex.wordpress.org/FAQ_Troubleshooting#How_do_I_solve_the_Headers_already_sent_warning_problem.3F

Please send me a link to the site and I’ll take a look at the missing images/icon issue. If you are running a performance or caching plugin please delete your cache.

    Hi Andrew

Thanks for that. I found the culprit space in the index.php.

    website is http://www.ecoventureme.com

    Super.

Had you edited index.php or was that something you just found there?

I might have accidentally put a space in when I was playing around with the site files.

It looks like your CSS is getting cached. The stylesheet actually being rendered is 2.1.4. Are you running a caching plugin? If so, please clear your cache.
