    Hi Graham

Are you asking about the hosted version of WordPress, wordpress.com? If that’s the case, I’m not quite sure, sorry. All of our products are focussed on wordpress.org, the self-hosted version so I don’t spend any time on the hosted side of things. You can perhaps reach out to WordPress.com and ask if themes can be uploaded, I don’t know if they can be. Sorry I don’t have more.

Yes, its the .com site. Im a WP novice world and it all seems rather confusing!

I’ve sent the question to WP.

I think the .com team pick the themes available. I don’t know that you can choose a theme, not on their list. Let’s see what they say though.

The difference between hosted and self-hosted is just that with WordPress.org, you’d purchase hosting from a hosting company, purchase your own domain and setup WordPress. With WordPress.com (hosted), that’s done for you.
