Upgrade 2.4.25 to 2.5.3

Today I have updated Page Builder versions from 2.4.25 to version 2.5.2 All looked ok from the public site but it was not until I went to edit a page I found a problem. On opening the page. The editor did not show any Toolbars or Icons, no tab for the Builder and no visible text/HTML. I rolled back versions till I came back to version 2.4.25 where everything worked again. I have removed the Page Builder plugin completely and installed the latest version but the result is still the same. What ever my problem is it must be related to version 2.50 onwards. I see that there are similar problems by the number of threads now showing roughly the same errors. I am not sure but I thought someone has produced a patch for this problem but cannot find where I read about it on your site. Can you help please?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Sch-ool,

I’m not aware of any issues similar to the one you described as they’ve all been related to the frontend rather than the backend. Can you please temporarily update and run a plugin conflict test? Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.

If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.

Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.

If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
