Update widgets bundle not working

I had made a landing page, was working through editing some things and appear to either have an error or more likely I’ve accidentally removed the siteorigin widgets bundle.
It is still appearing to be installed in my plugins on the non-editor part of wordpress but when i’m in the WP editor and go to plugins it isn’t there.
I’ve tried both to update this (error message) and/or re install it but it wouldnt work without uninstalling first (said it was already there) in doing which i think i would loose all the content etc.
I have also attempted to restore to previous versions using both the integrated versions that are saved up the top right and WP-DB backup plugin, neither of which work. (I’m just left with the blank theme and no content that was created using siteorigin content builder)

I would be over the moon for some suggestions to try to get this fixed!

Thanks! :D

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Ruairidh,

This sounds like a failed plugin install. To resolve this issue you’ll need to manually remove the old version of the plugin using FTP. If you’re unsure how to do this I would recommend getting in contact with your hosting provider for assistance.

Once connected, please navigate to your WordPress directory. Open wp-content/plugins and then delete so-widgets-bundle and then disconnect. Please open your website and navigate to WP Admin > Plugins > Add New and search for and install the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.
