Howdy,
since the last update of either “Page Builder by SiteOrigin” or “SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle” / maybe both, Umlaute and special Charakters like “ü”,”ö” or “ß” are not working in some widgets of your awesome toolbox for me. (really loving it by the way, thank you for doin it!)
It seems to happen primarely on the “SiteOriginHero” widget, the “SiteOriginHeadline” widget for example seems not corrupted at all.
I already tried the “utf8 thing” (deleting utf8 in ‚DB_CHARSET‘, ‚utf8‘);) with changing the language on the wp-config.php cause I thought it was because of the wordpress update – but it wasn’t as much as i can tell this far.
The problem just take place when i open the widget new and correct something and/or replace it. (In the Live-Editing-Mode as well as on normal change mode)
When it is saved, everything works fine till i change things on it again.
I have rebooted everything and it worked untill the update of both of the plugins.
You got any ideas? Cause i’m out of them so far.

This should be fixed in the latest update of the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, 1.9.7? If you’re not using this version, please try updating. If this issue is still occurring for you after updating, please try clearing your browser cache.
