Im trying to update my Siteorigin Unwind theme and continue to see the following error:
“Update Failed: The update cannot be installed because we will be unable to copy some files. This is usually due to inconsistent file permissions.”
There is no indication as to which files have inconsistent permissions.
I would greatly appreciate your help in this

Unfortunately, the WordPress update system isn’t very specific about these sort of things so you really need to guess.
Your best bet to proceed is to try a manual update. Please FTP into your website and navigate to wp-content/themes. Delete siteorigin-unwind and upload SiteOrigin Unwind (be sure to extract it). Did the manual update work?
