Hi,
I’ve just tried editing my theme functions and footer pages in a staging copy of my site but when I hit update file it gives me the “Scrape nonce check failed. Please try again” error. Then when I navigate away from the page and come back all the code from that particular file has disappeared.
Can you help?
Looks like I can edit files directly from my file manager on my posting but that’s not ideal.
Thanks,
Chris
Hi Chris,
I’m not too sure what is causing this issue, but I don’t think this is directly related to Unwind however as that’s not the error text we use for a nonce check failure.
Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
