I read help page:
My goal is to change my featured image size for my blog posts.
The thread reference above mentions going to settings, media, where there are thumbnail, medium, large image sizes. However I don’t see how you can utilize these 3 size options for the blog post featured images. And when I upload images there is no size control.
I don’t see any way to change my featured blog image size, other than manually changing the size before uploading. Is that correct?

Hi Marie,
The easiest way to adjust the post thumbnail size is to install Simple Image Sizes. Once installed, please navigate to WP AdminSettingsMedia and adjust the Post Thumbnail size as desired. Once adjusted, regenerate your images and clear your browser cache. How does that look?
The resizing of your images to fit the Featured Image size is done automatically.
