Unwind sitepack header full

Good day, i am using unwind theme (mybnb sitepack) – i would like to make the header full width, it has white areas on either side. I used this code from one of the other threads but doesn’t work
/* 100% Width Header */

#masthead .hgroup.full-container {
max-width: 100% !important;
}
please couls someone assist

    We aren’t usually able to assist with Custom CSS within our free support scope. However, I’ll try to either add this snippet to documentation or find a way to avoid the challenge. Please, try adding AppearanceCustom CSS if you’re using SiteOrigin CSS or CustomizeAdditional CSS:

    #masthead > .container {
    	max-width: none;
    }
