The logo is the focal point of every page that loads. I’m wondering if there is a way to have the logo disappear on all pages except homepage? (I have everything centered so; logo, menu, slider, content, etc.)
I can live without this function. I’ll just have to make a better looking logo or put something else up there and change it periodically. After seeing it load for the one thousandth time it’s starting to wear on me. Or maybe there’s a way to put a banner there that’s each page specific. A slider or full size image would work but the logo still takes up a lot of the real estate. So, I’m sticking to the original question. Logo on home page is great. Logo on other pages is becoming redundant.
Or if there is a way to make it way smaller on other pages?
OR! If the logo stays in place but the page that loads, loads lower. In this case, one would only see the logo if they scrolled to the top! This way, navigation would lead a reader straight to their desired content without a break in between. THat would be pretty neat right?
There is an option to disable the header but I also loose the main navigation if I do that.
Hi Knighted,
There’s no direct way to do this but you could, in theory, do this by adding the logo using a widget (I recommend the SiteOrigin Image widget) and then conditionally display that widget based on the page by using a plugin like Widget Options. You could also use this same method to display an alternative logo on certain pages.
