Hi there, I just switched my existing but still new site to the Unwind theme and all was going well. But I just published my first post under this theme and something strange happened. That particular post shows up (on my Mac) in a sort of generic WP look rather than the proper theme appearance – and the “see full site” message appears at bottom of page, but changes nothing when clicked.
Everything else, including previous posts, show up as they should under the theme.
Is there some setting I inadvertently hit that I should correct?
One thing to note – I used the Page Builder on this post because I wanted to embed a Youtube video in it. Just pasting the embed code at the bottom of my post didn’t work, so I followed the advice in another thread on this forum related to that problem and inserted a video player widget in a row using Page Builder. I assume this is part of the problem.
The funny thing is that when I first checked the post shortly after publishing (using Safari browser) it appeared as expected. I have subsequently viewed it on an iPad and that’s when this issue first arose. Now when I check it on my Mac using all of Safari, Chrome and Firefox, it has this weird non-theme appearance.
Suggestions?
Update – I solved the issue myself by collapsing the Page Builder rows back into visual/text editor. I also changed post type to ‘video’. Now it is appearing as expected.
Hi Quenandr,
I’m glad you were able to resolve this issue. I’m sorry I wasn’t able to be of assistance this time. Please be sure to post another thread if you have any other questions.
