Unable to upload exe file

Good day,
I am unable to upload an exe file. I am trying to add a software installation file to woocommerce. I am selling a downloadable software product. I am currently using on the vantage theme.

I saw on one of the forums that you need to upload the enhanced-media-library plugin. I have installed it and added the exe file type to the ‘Mime’ section of the plugin. But when I try to uppload the exe file to the media library it says: this file type is not permitted for security reasons. Can you please help me.

    Hi Nicky555

    Unfortunately, I can’t seem to work out why that plugin isn’t working and it doesn’t appear to be related to Vantage. I would recommend either archiving the file (ie. zipping it) or getting in contact with the developers of Enhanced Media Library for advice.
