Hi there.
I built my homepage using the Site Origin Editor and I’ve been trying to update it but I’m getting an error :(

Can anyone help me with that please?

Hi Péricles,
Preface: Sorry about the reply to your other thread, I didn’t see this one when I had replied to that one.
This looks like it could be a plugin conflict issue. Can you try disabling all non-SiteOrigin plugins and see if this fixes the issue? (you’ll need to save the page while Page Builder is enabled to test this) You’ll need to clear all your caches after disabling your plugins.
If it does fix the issue, then try re-enabling your plugins one by one until the issue comes back. This procedure will help diagnose which plugin is causing the issue.
Once we know that, we’ll be able to look at what might be causing the conflict and either solve the problem or help you find an alternative plugin.
If you aren’t using a SiteOrigin theme, then you can also try temporarily switching to one of the default WordPress themes to see if the issue is theme related.
Thanks Alex!!
Overtime I disable all my puglins I have a lot of work to set up everything again though…
I have a health check puglin, but I don’t really know how it works…
Every time*
Hi Alex. I just submit this ticket on Git Hub.
### Please give us a description of what happened.
Hi there.
From nothing my Yoast puglin stopped working :( the Analysis and the readability aren’t working at all.
Curiously I’m not able to edit my homepage that I made using the Page Builder by Site Origin.
So, I finally were able to reproduce what’s happening.
I used Health check and put it on Troubleshooting mode.
When I enable the Yoast, it was still not working… when I use a default theme it worked.
Another thing that I did was enable Page Builder and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle using my current theme. With Yoast enabled I the widgets aren’t showing up. But once I disable Yoast everything worked fine.
What a pity! Such a great puglin nut it has been giving me such a headache recently. I really hope someone can help me.
### Please describe what you expected to happen and why.
I expected that the puglin could work as fine as it was working before.
It started from nothing.
### How can we reproduce this behavior?
1. Health Check , Troubleshooting mode
2. Enable Yoast
3. Then Use my current theme
4. Enable Page Builder and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle puglins. You will get an error message and the widgets will not show up.
5. Disable Yoast and everything will work fine now.
### Technical info
* WordPress version: 4.9.5
* Yoast SEO version: 7.2
* Relevant plugins in case of a bug: SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and Page Builder.
* Tested with theme: Insight Child and Twenty Seventeen
Hi Péricles,
Based on your results, this seems to be more be an issue with your theme conflicting with Yoast and SiteOrigin Page Builder. Does this issue occur if you’re using the main theme rather than your child theme?
Thanks Alex.
I’ve been using this child theme for a while and I didn’t have those issues before. Should I try on the main theme instead? Does any of my work (site) in risk during this transition?
Thx
Hi Péricles,
Yes, please try the main version of the theme.
It’s very unlikely you’ll run into any issues (outside of minor differences due to the lack of the child theme), but just to be safe – be sure to do a backup.
Thank you so much Alex!!
I will try to do that and see ;)
Hey Alex.
I contacted my web designer and she said that my child theme is deeply customized and that I should not change to main theme…
What else can you do please?
Thx
Hi Péricles,
Unfortunately, we cannot proceed until you rule out a theme issue.
What I readily don’t understand Alex is why it stopped working from nothing… I always used those two puglins and it was working fine on my site…
I’m wondering if there are other things causing this issue… javascript error or any other things?
Thx
