Unable to install updraftplus

Error message: Installation failed: The package could not be installed. PCLZIP_ERR_BAD_FORMAT (-10) : Unable to find End of Central Dir Record signature.

Please advise what’s the cause and what can be done?

    Hi Douglas,

    This is typically a sign of two things:

        A corrupted download
        You’ve run out of space or your file

    For the former, please try redownloading the plugin to see if that helps. To confirm, are you uploading the plugin or are you installing the plugin through WordPress.org? If you’re installing it, try installing it through WP AdminPluginsAdd New (as in, try not uploading it)

    For the latter, I would recommend checking if you’ve hit any of your hosting plan resource limits. If you aren’t sure, I would recommend getting in contact with your hosting provider.
