Unable to install Site Origin page builder

8 years ago · Last reply by pri 8 years ago

I was using page builder all this time. When I visited my site I noticed its jumbled. And says install page builder. I am using Sydney theme. When I try to install it says Downloading install package from https://downloads.wordpress.org/plugin/siteorigin-panels.2.5.11.zip…

Unpacking the package…

Installing the plugin…

Destination folder already exists. Private Snippethtml/wp-content/plugins/siteorigin-panels/

Plugin install failed. What can I do.

    Hi Pri,

This is a sign of a broken plugin install. Can you please navigate to WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins and try and find Page Builder by SiteOrigin. If you can, please try activating it.

If you can’t, you’ll need to FTP into to your website and manually delete the SiteOrigin Page Builder plugin directory. If you’re not too familiar with FTP, I would recommend getting in contact with your hosting provider for assistance. Once connected, please navigate to html/wp-content/plugins/ and delete siteorigin-panels. Please navigate to WP AdminPluginsAdd New and search for and install Page Builder by SiteOrigin.
