Hello,
Today after Halloween I wanted to add a post and remove some Halloween products to private. After I did these tasks and updated the changes are saved in wordpress but not on my website. Can I please get help with this problem?
Thanks
Dwight

    Hi Dwight

    Thanks for reaching out.

It looks like you’re using a caching plugin. Here is a little snippet from your page source:

If you know where the settings page is for your caching plugin, please, try clearing it.

    Thanks

    Hello Andrew,

I cleared the cache but with no positive results.

There was a problem that showed up about 2 weeks ago where I wasn't able to delete plugins, (still present) I get a server error 500. This could be part of the issue that has escalated to the point now that my edits have stopped updating and I can't add or remove products. I will give
HostGator a call to see if they can see the problem and I will keep you updated.

Thank you for your assistance. I also use Vantage premium for 4 other websites I have done.

Hopefully your hosts can assist in clearing your cache. Let us know how you come along.

I cleared the cache and set it up to do a 24 hour clear so I don’t have the problem in the future, but there is still a problem, as updates aren’t completing to the website. Could you please take another look at the site?
    Thanks
    Dwight

Can you perhaps try clearing the cache and then de-activating the plugin you’re using for that? The only reason you wouldn’t see changes reflect on the front end of your site is caching. Your source code still reflects:

    Hey Andrew,
I followed your steps, with the same results, the updates weren’t changing. You were on the right track. While consulting you I was on the phone line with HostGator, they found that it was a cache of the WordFence plugin that I had uninstalled before the weekend. During the uninstall the wordfence cache had stayed.

    The issue is resolved.
Thank you so much for your help.

That’s super sneaky! Really glad to hear you were able to resolve, nicely done.

All the best with your site.

I thought the problem was fixed but update products I did earlier are now undone. The problem is still present.

Is the update present in the WordPress admin when you edit the product or post etc?

Yes, and it did show up on the website, but as I was working on other items
I noticed that the price of a couple of canvas posters had reverted back to the earlier price. The edited variation price is still in my wp dashboard.

If the information is still present in your WordPress admin but not reflecting on the front end, I’m afraid, we’re back at a caching issue.

Yeah mysteriously the word fence plugin showed up again on my plugin list.
Frustrating, I'm on the cell again with hostgator.

    Hope you’re able to resolve.
