Unable to Change Header Image

6 years ago · Last reply by Andrew Misplon 6 years ago

I’ve managed my website for 2 years. Two days ago I changed the header image for the first time since the site was created. Now I need to put a revised version in since the height of the changed image is excessive.
I am now at a loss as to how to proceed. According to directions, I should go to “Appearance”” and click the “Header” option.
Unfortunately, there is no “Header” option there. My list of options is as follows: Customize, Widgets, Menus, Background, About Siteorigin Unwind, Premium Themes, Home Page.
Please note other things I’ve explored already:
When I click “”Customize” and click “Theme Settings” then select “Header”, it only allows me to determine position and padding options.
Please help me understand how to work around the missing Header option or how to restore it. I’m going on my fifth hour of fruitless research and attempts.
Thanks!

    Hi Ronda

Do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Thanks

Thanks. Check CustomizeSite Identity which is the core WP logo setting or the theme logo setting mentioned earlier. Both work.
