Hello,
All that is listed above has become completely unresponsive while using SiteOrigin Editor while working in a row. I am using Bramble and I’m running the following:
Version of Page Builder is: 10.2.4.5
Wp: 4.8.1
I have many pages on my site that are constructed using rows, I hope this can somehow be resolved to not have to do an entire redesign.
Thank you for any help.
Update.
Following the advice in (https://siteorigin.com/troubleshooting/identifying-plugin-conflicts/) and I tried all the suggestions given in previous posts including deactivating all but the siteorigin and page builder plugins, activating a default theme and then clearing the cash.
After all that the problem still exists. It seems there may be a bug or something.
Thank you.
David
Hi David,
You’re using a very old version of SiteOrigin Page Builder that was made for versions of Bramble prior to 1.0.4. Please navigate to WP Adminpluginsinstalled Plugins and deactivate Page Builder by SiteOrigin and SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle, then delete both of them. Click Add New and search for and install Page Builder by SiteOrigin. Activate it when prompted. Then please do the same for the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.
Please clear your browser cache. Does this issue remain?
Hi Alex,
Thank you so much! It seems the issue was corrected.
It would be nice and helpful if somehow when the plugin is out dated as mine were, a warning could come up informing that they need to be replaced and instructions could be issued to replace it, I had no idea that was the case – and it was such a simple soulution.
Much appreciated!
Best,
David
Hi Alex,
However, I just noticed that the underline option has disappeared from the siteorigin editor menu. It was there when I first made this page under the older version (see the date in 2nd paragraph: http://davidwellsroth.com/artwork/bio/ ), I just added that date, and am not able to underline it like the following dated further down. Am I missing something?
Thank you.
Best,
David

Hi David,
Oddly, you should have been altered of the fact the version you’re using isn’t supported anymore. I would bring this up with ThemeTrust as this isn’t something we can personally do (it would either require their version to be updated or for a check to be added to the theme itself).
Regarding the Underline button missing. I’m not too sure why it was visible previously, but it’s missing from the editor due to it being no longer enabled in WordPress by default (reference – refer to the “Editor Improvements”). To add the Underline back (and the justify button), please install TinyMCE Advanced and then navigate to WP AdminSettingsTinyMCE Advanced and re-add the buttons back to your toolbar.
Hi Alex,
This worked beautifully, thank you!
I will follow through with ThemeTrust as you suggested.
Best,
David
