Unable to add image to the “home” gallery. Please help!

Hi guys,

Unfortunately I’m currently unable to add image to the “home” gallery. I think it may be an issue after I updated.. Unfortunately there isn’t an option to add media in the gallery menu. I’ve attached an image to this email to illustrate the point. Please help, I’ve just started a business and a functioning website is really important.

Kind regards and happy new year

Lee

    Hi Lee

Thanks for reporting. For now please try the Add Media button from within the Visual Editor widget. It’ll give you the familiar WP interface for adding a gallery.

    Hope that helps.

    For sure.

Sorry if I wasn’t clear. You’re quite right, the Add Media button is now missing the Gallery (PB) widget. This is unfortunately a legacy widget and won’t be correct moving forward. Within Page Builder add a new widget and search for the Visual Editor widget. This widget does have an Add Media button and can be used in the same way.

If you’d like to transition a gallery over from the Gallery (PB) widget to the Visual Editor widget, click over to Text view on that page, find the gallery shortcode in square brackets and copy it over to the Text tab within the Visual Editor widget.
