Hi – I need to be able to design the home page ( and in fact every other page ) so that I can have a custom logo top left, then the menu then my content. I don’t appear to be able to lose the ‘default’ site title appearing top left, or move the menu? Is this correct – if it is I’ll have to ask for a refund!
Thanks for any help/steers,
Jim
Hi Jim
Thanks for reaching out.
You can set your logo from Appearance > Theme Settings > Logo:
https://siteorigin.com/vantage-documentation/getting-started/uploading-your-logo/
The default masthead layout places the menu below the logo as seen in the Vantage demo:
http://demo.siteorigin.com/vantage/
There is one other masthead layout on offer from Appearance > Theme Settings > Layout > Masthead Layout called Logo in Menu, this places the menu and logo on the same line. That said, the default setup will place the menu below the logo as you’ve requested in your thread.
Hope that helps.
HI Andrew – that’s great thanks. As well as the logo top left, I want to get the ‘Blog’ identity ( another image) entered above the menu and the ‘login here’ image to the right also above the menu ( where the text ‘Call me maybe’ is ). Is there a way to achieve this?
Thanks,
Jim
Thanks for the wait. If you go to Appearance > Widgets you can use a SiteOrigin Editor widget to insert an image or text or both. That widget area accepts multiple widgets and will arrange them left to right as added.
