Ultimate Member and SiteOrigin Widgets (Google Maps) Compatibility

Hi Support,

I’ve got a website which uses SiteOrigin’s Google Maps Widget to display our map locations.

We’ve updated our API key in the widget and through the plugin settings to reflect the pricing changes in July.
It is not working when the Ubermenu plugin is active.

Ubermenu 3 is upto date.

When Ubermenu is activated, the error in the console says “noApiKeys” so it is unable to find the API key as per normal.
The SiteOrigin widget works when Ubermenu is activated when another maps plugin (WP Google Maps) is being used on the same site.
It seems like the other plugin can fetch the Google Maps API key, so we can deduce that the SiteOrigin plugin is having some conflict with Ubermenu when trying to grab the API key.

Could you please let us know if this is a known issue?
If not, could you try to replicate this or let us know if any patch or plan will be provided?

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Justinc,

I suspect, Ubermenu is outputting its Google Maps API. I would check if there’s a way to set an API key in the UberMenu settings as that should avoid this issue.

If you’re unable to find such a setting or setting it doesn’t help, do you have a public URL where we can take a look at what’s going on?

    Hi Alex,

Thanks for your reply. I did some investigating yesterday and as you mentioned, Ubermenu needed to be either disabled or given an API key if enabled.

Happy for you to close this thread.
