Hi all,

I am using siteorigin north theme. the free version. I recently started to use Ubermenu. However, I think the automatic integration of ubermenu is not working with north theme. I have some issues, for example the menus that are intended to be mega menu, come up as flyout menu. I say that because when I use their direct injection option those menus seem to work alright. I think I need to do manual integration but as I am not good with coding (basically do not know anything) I find it too risky to attempt manual integration and creating child theme. Any suggestions?

Thanks

    Hi, I Work Here

    Hi Hamidamini,

Unfortunately, based on your setup, it looks like UberMenu isn’t currently compatible with Siteorigin North. :(
I’ve marked this thread as a feature request. We often look through these threads to get ideas for what to add in our future updates. Hopefully, we’ll be able to add this in a future update. Sadly, a child theme is the only option at this time. I wouldn’t be too worried about doing something wrong as the worse than can happen is you’ll break the child theme (if that happens, just recreate it or undo your changes).

    Thanks Alex,

I created a child theme and tried to modify it. Unfortunately, I was not able to fix the problem. Could you please help me on how to modify the child theme. I really like north theme and do not want to change it (also, I do not mind buying the premium).

    Thanks,

    Hi Hamidamini,

Unfortunately, this isn’t something I can personally assist with at this time. The development team will need to add this – sorry mate. :(
