Hi there
I did the upgrade for Vantage the other day and now my Ubermenu is in the header
I had it just under the headed before hand.
Hi Dave
Sorry to hear about the hassle. We have been working on our UberMenu integration.
It looks ok now. Did you manage to resolve?
Hi Andrew
Thanks for your email.
No I still have the issue
I don't want the menu in the head, want it to appear underneath in the white background place
Thanks for the feedback, I’m with you now. Looking at the source code, the menu is where I’d expect it to be. Do you know how you previously moved it from the header into the main div? Were there perhaps modifications made at a code level before?
Hi,
No I did not change any code. I dont recall how it did it last time. But after the upgrade I cant get it out of the header.
Hi Dave
Thanks for the wait. The only way I think to do this is using a child theme, please try this one:
https://github.com/siteorigin/vantage-child/tree/feature/move-menu-below-header
There is a download button in the right column. The ZIP can be installed from Appearance > Themes > Add New > Upload Theme.
Activating a child theme will cause menu location and Cusotmizer settings to reset. Test the child theme out first, if you’re happy, you can look at redoing those.
Let us know how you come along.
So I can’t use the Vantage premium theme ? and all the option it offers ?

Hi Dave
The child theme Andrew posted works in conjunction with Vantage. It extends Vantage, and all the original features will still be available to you.
Sorry about that Dave, I didn’t explain what that was. A child theme allows us to modify certain theme files while still keeping them safe during theme updates. Whenever you run a Vantage update or any WordPress theme update, the entire theme folder gets overwritten. So for this reason it’s not possible to safely edit theme files in their primary location.
For more on child themes please see: https://codex.wordpress.org/Child_Themes
Thanks for the info
I did try that and decide not to keep it.
Now When a scroll back up to the top of the page the menu jump to the very top stays there for a few seconds then drop back into place.
Any ideas
I’m unfortunately not seeing the same behaviour in OS X Chrome or Firefox, all seems normal. Turning off sticky menu at Theme Settings > Navigation might be one way to avoid this all together.
Good to know
Hi
I Can't Expand Responsive Menu Toggle I did read the support but I dont understand what to do.
It's only an isuue with Safari on the Iphone
Was hoping to make my site live today
Hi Dave
Sorry to hear about the hassle.
The good news is that all is well in iOS Safari which is where the toggle is most likely to be seen. I’m not sure what the issue is on desktop Safari. It’s unlikely a desktop/laptop browser screen would be that size in Safair though.
If you’d like to troubleshoot I’d suggest testing with a default theme to figure out whether Vantage is involved. That would be a good starting point.
