Hi, I am working with Vantage theme.
I would like to know how to translate the words “posted on” and “by” below the title. I have all my website in Spanish.
Thank you in advance

    Hi Pediatra,

Could you send me your po file? I’ll update it with the strings required.

To manually do this you’ll need to install PoEdit. Once you’ve done that please navigate to your WordPress install directory, then wp-content/themes/vantage/languages. Open vantage.pot and click update in the toolbar, save it and then close it.

Then open your po file you’ve created and do the same – it’ll pull the updated strings from the pot file. Instead of closing it, this time, you’ll want to search for the posted on string:

This will highlight the source text for that. Simply input your translation into the transition filed and save the po file.

    I’ve got the same problem.
Only the “Posted on” String can not be translated.

I reverted the template-tags.php to version to 1.4.2.
Now everything seems to be fine.

Like Pixel, only the “posted on” cannot be translated

      Hi Pediatra,

Please try following the steps outlined in my post. That will allow you to translate posted on.
