“This widget has scripts and styles that need to be loaded…”

7 years ago · Last reply by Alex S 7 years ago

I am using WordPress 5.0.3 together with the following plugins:
– Page Builder by SiteOrigin – latest version: 2.10.0
– SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle – latest version 1.14.4

To avoid any conflicts, I have deactivated all other plugins…

When I go to a page with Page Builder being used and I “edit” a post, I get the following error “This widget has scripts and styles that need to be loaded before you can use it. Please save and reload your current page.

You will only need to do this once.”

I have confirmed this message still comes up after all of the plugins are inactive and only running Page Builder and Widgets Bundle.

Any suggestions for a fix?

Much appreciated.

    Hi Davi,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having issues editing your pages. Can you please clarify which widget you’re receiving this error for? Does this issue occur if you temporarily change to a default WordPress theme?

This is happening when I try to edit using the SiteOrigin Editor.

The theme im currently using is Vantage.

    Hi Davielle,

Unfortunately, I’m unable to replicate this issue. Would it be possible for you to create a temporary admin account for us so we can log in and take a look?

    Thank you! This is done.

The area I am editing is within my “Pages” > “Our Members”

This issue happens when I try to edit an existing entry using the “editor”

    Hi Davi,

I’ve run a few tests and it looks like all of the SiteOrgin Widget Bundle form fields styling are coming up as missing (404). Can you please try reinstalling the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle? You can do this by navigating to WP AdminPluginsInstalled Plugins, deactivate SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle and then delete it. Click Add New and search for and install/activate the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle.
