I’m attempting to utilize the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle with Bitnami WordPress Multisite. However, I’ve encountered an issue where the /wp-admin/siteorigin URL fails to load after activating the plugin.
Here are the steps I followed:
1. First, ensure that Docker and Docker Compose are installed on your system.
2. Download the docker-compose.yml file from this link: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bitnami/containers/main/bitnami/wordpress/docker-compose.yml
3. Modify the downloaded docker-compose.yml file by adding the following lines under services->wordpress->environment:
- WORDPRESS_ENABLE_MULTISITE=yes
- WORDPRESS_MULTISITE_HOST=127.0.0.1.nip.io # replace this with <YOURIP>.nip.io
- WORDPRESS_MULTISITE_NETWORK_TYPE=subfolder4. Open your web browser and navigate to 127.0.0.1.nip.io/wp-admin.
5. Log in using “user” as the username and “bitnami” as the password.
6. Download and activate the SiteOrigin Widgets Bundle plugin.
7. Click on the “SiteOrigin” menu located on the left side of the dashboard, which should redirect you to 127.0.0.1.nip.io/wp-admin/siteorigin.
Unfortunately, instead of loading the expected page, I received a 404 error indicating that the requested URL could not be found on this server.

Thanks for reaching out. I’ve been able to replicate this issue and this issue will be fixed in a future update. In the meantime, you can avoid this issue by hovering on top of the SiteOrigin admin menu link and then click Installer.
